About The Role And School
Are you an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in Acton? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their SEND unit from September 2026. This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with a range of SEND and complex needs during the crucial early stages of their education and is confident delivering engaging, child-centred learning experiences.

Job Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate SEND learning activities
- Deliver targeted SEND interventions such as Speech and Language interventions
- Assist with planning and preparing sensory and SEND-based activities
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to support children's progress and wellbeing
- Monitor and record children's learning and development, providing feedback to the class teacher
- Encourage independence, curiosity and positive behaviour through effective classroom support
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong SEND knowledge relevant to the role
- Experience with complex needs such as Autism, Non-Verbal, Speech and Language needs
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
