SEN Support Assistant (Part-Time, Temporary) – Willoughby Road Primary Academy
Salary Grade C + Points 4 to 6 (£25,185 to £25,989 Full-Time Equivalent) – subject to pro-rata Minimum actual pro-rata salary per annum: £18,621.78
About the Role
Willoughby Road Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a SEN Support Assistant to join our academy in September 2026 on a part-time, temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities
As an SEN Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
- Offer special educational and/or medical support to help ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning
- Maintain professional records and notes relating to each pupil’s progress and support needs
