Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant (TA)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs, working in partnership with teachers and therapists.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to grow in confidence and independence.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
- Offer support with students' personal care and mobility needs, where necessary.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and staff, contributing to a collaborative school community.
- Support the emotional and social development of students, helping them navigate challenges in a compassionate and patient manner.

Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN) is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students are supported in achieving their best.
- A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them navigate their individual learning journeys.
