Start Date: September 2026

Commutable From: Coventry, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa, Daventry, Warwick

The Opportunity

Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Rugby area from September 2026.

This role will involve supporting pupils across Years 3-6, working closely with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism (ASD). Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils across Years 3-6
  • Support pupils with SEMH, Autism (ASD), and additional learning needs
  • Deliver targeted interventions linked to EHCPs and individual learning plans
  • Implement behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Work alongside teachers to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and the wider school team
  • Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
