About the School

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our well-equipped special school in Kingswinford. Our team delivers a resourceful, tailored education aligned with the individual needs of our pupils.

This is a full-time, term-time only role. Experience in supporting pupils with additional needs in a school setting is essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Support pupils with:
    • Academic
    • Social
    • Emotional
    • Behavioural needs
  • Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification relevant to the role (e.g., Supporting Teaching and Learning (STL), Childcare, Education, or SEN)
  • Previous school experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs and autism)
