SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs TA)

Salary/Rate: Competitive GBP20188 - GBP23009

Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)

Start Date: ASAP

Without education, there is no future. Are you ready to help young adults with complex special needs build the skills, confidence, and education they need to thrive?

An Ofsted Outstanding special school (nationally recognised and award-winning for 7+ years) is seeking a passionate SEN TA to join their bright, modern, and nurturing campus. This rare, full-time opening comes as a beloved team member retires after 25 years of service.

Supporting over 60 pupils aged 4 to 19 with complex and profound learning difficulties, this school specialises in breaking down barriers to learning. Many students have experienced long gaps in their education; your role will be to help them re-engage, feel accepted, and enjoy school life through integrated therapeutic support and specialist teaching.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
