SEN Teacher
SEN Teacher – Jubilee School, Waterlooville
Location: Jubilee School, Waterlooville, PO7 7RE Salary: £39,000 per annum (not pro rata) Hours: 40 per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only Start Date: September 2026

What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for individuals and small groups, teaching up to GCSE level in a core subject.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
- Monitor, assess, and celebrate pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans, and personalised learning programmes.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development using nurturing, trauma-informed approaches.
- Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Lead and develop curriculum areas, contributing to whole-school improvement and the School Development Plan.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of every pupil while maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.

About You
