SEN Teacher: Key Stage 3 Specialist

Location: Hinckley
Salary: GBP32,916 - GBP45,352 per annum (M1 - M6 scale)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 Hours per Week, Term Time Only)

The Opportunity: Transform Potential into Progress

Are you a teacher who finds more joy in a breakthrough moment than a standardised test score? We are looking for a creative and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our Hinckley-based team.

In this role, you will move away from the one-size-fits-all classroom and move toward a truly personalised, relationship-based education. Working with young people aged 7 to 19 (with a specific focus on Key Stage 3), you will help students who have struggled in mainstream settings to find their feet, build their confidence, and rediscover a love for learning.

Your Classroom, Your Impact

Teaching in small groups or on a 1:to:1 basis, you will deliver a flexible and engaging curriculum designed to prepare students for life.

  • Holistic Subjects: You will lead learning in core areas such as Maths, English, and PSHE, alongside practical, life-enriching subjects like Cooking and Preparation for Adulthood (PFA).
  • Innovative Delivery: Collaborate with Site Lead Teachers to design multi-sensory experiences that cater to each student's specific EHCP goals and personal interests.
  • Student Advocacy: You will be a voice for your learners, ensuring they are involved in decisions about their own education and that their emotional wellbeing is prioritised.
  • Strategic Support: Assist Learning Managers with assessments, progress tracking, and detailed reporting for transition planning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
