Responsibilities Of a SEN Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons as a SEN Teacher
- Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs and other additional needs as a SEN Teacher
- Create and implement individual learning strategies as a SEN Teacher
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents and external agencies as a SEN Teacher
- Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment as a SEN Teacher
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes as a SEN Teacher

Requirements For a SEN Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teacher or teaching pupils with special educational needs
- Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and inclusive teaching practices
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A patient, adaptable and compassionate approach
- Commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes as a SEN Teacher
