About the Role

I am currently looking for an SEN teacher who is experienced working with children with autism and/or SLD to join a delightful SEN school in the Twickenham area. The school is going through an unprecedented period of growth and you will be joining their new site for 7:16 year olds pupils in the Twickenham area which opens its doors in September which is their 4th site.

In response to their heavy over-subscription these new sites are opening and the school is seeking to appoint a quality SEN teacher to join their team from the start of May the academic year. The role will be to teach a mixed KS2/3 class working at KS1 levels who have moderate to complex autism. You will be setting up a new class with lots of SLT support. You will have 5 pupils who will be new to the school to transition and your class will be supported by an HLTA and 2 TAs all of whom will be full time.

SEN Teacher Roles and Responsibilities

This Twickenham based SEN Teacher role will require leading, delivering and coordinating lessons and curriculum to a class of 5 primary students that have moderate cognitive and developmental difficulties including autism. You will need to be committed to ensuring pupils make good progress and encourage pupils to reach their potential through engaging and stimulating multi-sensory teaching. It is important that you are a good line manager, can set targets, can plan a sensory curriculum, write reports, liaise with parents and external agencies and communicate well with fellow staff.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
