SEN Teacher

A specialist school in Ware is currently seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, supporting students' academic and personal development, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher in Ware:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support a range of SEN requirements
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Support students' academic progress, social development, and emotional wellbeing
  • Monitor and assess student performance, adapting teaching approaches as required
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure student success

The Ideal SEN Teacher, Ware:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
