Graduate Trainee Behaviour Analyst / SEN Teacher

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey (Commutable from Guildford and surrounding areas)

Salary: GBP26,458 FTE (GBP23,000 per annum pro:rata, based on term:time only)

Bonus: GBP1,000 Joining Bonus

Job Type: Full:Time, Permanent (Part:time options available)

Hours: 36.75 hours per week, Term:Time Only (Mon:Fri, exact daytime hours)

About The Role

Are you a Psychology, Sociology, or Criminology Graduate looking for a practical, hands:on gateway into Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Behaviour Analysis? Or perhaps you are a career changer with a passion for human behaviour and a desire to make a tangible social impact?

We are seeking analytical, motivated, and resilient individuals to join our specialist multi:disciplinary team as a Graduate Trainee Behaviour Analyst / SEN Teacher.

In this role, you will work 1:to:1 with autistic children and young people, utilising evidence:based, behaviourally analytic teaching methods (including Applied Behaviour Analysis/CABAS models). Rather than just managing a classroom, you will actively participate in data collection, behavioural tracking, and the execution of individualised learning and communication programs.

No prior teaching qualification is required. We provide a fully funded, world:class training pipeline designed to take you from a graduate or career changer to a certified professional in the field of behavioural science.

Key Responsibilities

  • Behavioural Intervention: Work 1:to:1 with pupils within small settings, applying behavioural theories to improve their learning, communication, and independence.
  • Data and Programming: Deliver individualised curriculum plans and track pupil progress, contributing directly to behavioural data and research.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a team of expert Behaviour Analysts, Speech and Language Therapists, and Occupational Therapists.
  • Holistic Support: Guide pupils through life skills, social development, community trips, and personal/intimate care routines where required.
  • Professional Development: Commit to an intensive program of continuous professional training and regular, expert:led clinical supervision.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

Education:

  • A degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field is highly desirable, OR equivalent professional experience showing an aptitude for behavioural science.
  • Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English and Maths is required.

Experience:

  • Any professional, voluntary, or personal experience working with vulnerable individuals, children, or disabilities is an advantage.
