We are currently recruiting caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive primary schools across Gravesend, Kent for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive both academically and socially within an inclusive school environment.
The Role:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Supporting children with needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom participation
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support pupil progress

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
- Experience supporting SEN pupils is advantageous
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
