1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant : Year 4 (ADHD and Complex Needs) East Dulwich

GBP95:GBP110 per day

Full-time
September 2026 start

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

The Opportunity

A welcoming primary school in East Dulwich is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ADHD and complex needs.

This role would suit someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident in supporting a child who requires consistent structure, encouragement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.

You will be joining a collaborative environment where SEN provision is valued and additional training is encouraged.

The Role

As the child's 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support learning across the Year 4 curriculum
  • Help the pupil remain focused and engaged during lessons
  • Implement strategies to support attention, regulation, and behaviour
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback on learning and wellbeing
  • Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil
