How You'll Apply Your Degree
- Behavioural Support: Utilise your understanding of psychological frameworks to support students with diverse learning needs and emotional regulations.
- Data and Observation: Monitor student progress and provide feedback that contributes to EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) reviews.
- Relationship Science: Build therapeutic-style rapport with students, focusing on social-emotional development and mental well-being.
- Collaborative Practice: Work alongside teachers and specialists to deliver tailored interventions.
What We're Looking For
- Academic Foundation: A degree in Psychology or a related Social Science.
- Practical Mindset: Previous experience supporting young people (SEN experience is a huge plus).
- Resilience: An empathetic nature paired with the emotional intelligence to handle challenging situations.
- Logistics: A valid UK driving license and your own vehicle are essential due to the school's rural location.
