SEN Teaching Assistants Required: Specialist Schools in Kings Lynn

We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible, day-to-day cover at specialist schools and alternative provisions in Kings Lynn and the surrounding West Norfolk area.

This role is perfect for experienced SEND professionals, support workers looking to transition into education, or individuals with a genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs, including Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role: Day-to-Day SEN Support

What We Are Looking For

  • A patient, nurturing, and robust nature: specialist environments require high emotional resilience and a calm demeanour.
  • Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs (experience with non-verbal communication, sensory processing, or de-escalation strategies is highly valued).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with school therapists and teachers.
  • An adaptable mindset, ready to dive into different classrooms and quickly build a safe rapport with pupils.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness for one).
