SEN Teaching Assistant
SEMH Teaching Assistant: Littlehampton
Salary & Contract
- £93–£100 per day (12-week placement)
- £22,000–£23,500 per annum (upon permanent transfer)
- Monday–Friday, 8:15am–3:30pm
About the Role

We are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Littlehampton, supporting primary and secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This specialist setting provides:

Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEMH needs in- and out-of-the-classroom
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Foster strong relationships as a positive role model
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to help pupils succeed
Requirements
- Experience working with children, young people (education, care, youth work, etc.)
- GCSE Maths and English (required)
- Right to work in the UK (or valid visa)
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
