Pay: Competitive rates depending on experience

Job Overview:
- This school caters for students aged 11-16.
- Full-time, Monday - Friday SEN Teaching Assistant role.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs.
- Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored support strategies.
- Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage student confidence, independence and engagement in lessons.
- Support behaviour management and emotional wellbeing across the school day.
- Assist with classroom preparation and differentiated learning activities.

What we're looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- A patient, empathetic and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive and flexible attitude.
- Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
