SEN Teaching Assistant: Victoria, Central London

Location: Victoria, Central London

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, until July 2027

Pay: GBP90 - GBP100 per day


We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely mainstream primary school in the heart of Victoria.

This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children with SEN across KS1 and KS2, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The school is looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and able to hit the ground running from day one.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN and complex needs
  • Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions across KS1 and KS2
  • Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO
  • Promoting pupil engagement, progress, and wellbeing

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience supporting children with SEN and complex needs
  • Strong understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs in a school setting
  • Positive, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
