SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary Grade 4 £25,989 per annum pro rata, 30 hours per week.

Term Time only. Working 39 weeks per year and paid 44.65 weeks per year. (approx. £18,045 pa)

Hours of Work

  • 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday
  • 30-minute break

About the Role

The Governors of our friendly and successful school are seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to help us achieve our aims of getting the best from all our children in their learning and personal development and to support the safe and effective running of our school, where children will enjoy and thrive.

You Will

  • Have a willingness to work and support children with special needs
  • Have experience of working with children in an educational setting
  • Have completed or be willing to complete NVQ level 2 in childcare learning and education or equivalent qualification
  • Be enthusiastic, resilient and reflective
  • Be skilled at building positive relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Be an excellent communicator
