Grove Road School, an independent specialist day school in Sutton, seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to help support their students.

Key Responsibilities
- Support students in their educational and social development
- Offer assistance inside and outside of the classroom to help them engage in learning and activities
- Help set up adaptive activities, using technology or modifying environments to meet individual needs
- Work alongside teachers, providing learning support while maintaining a positive, respectful classroom presence
- Deliver 1:1 support to students requiring focused attention and assistance
Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Experience working with children who have behavioural support needs
- Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies
- Qualifications:
- Grade C or above in GCSE English and Math, or equivalent Level 1/2 Functional Skills
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, or a desire to work towards one
