SEN Teaching Assistant | Bromley | September Start

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking to build specialist SEND experience within a school setting? This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity in Bromley offers the chance to work within a specialist provision where personalised learning, communication and pupil wellbeing are central to every school day.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for graduates considering careers in Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy or SEND teaching. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and moderate learning difficulties, helping them access learning while developing confidence and independence.

Working alongside experienced teachers and specialist professionals, you will become part of a highly collaborative team focused on ensuring every pupil achieves meaningful progress.

Full Academic Year | £500–£550 per week

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:

  • Hold A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) and a BA degree
  • Have a genuine interest in SEND
  • Be patient, resilient and empathetic
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Have aspirations towards specialist education or therapy
