Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a highly rewarding role in a supportive mainstream primary school?

Reeson Education is working closely with a fantastic Ofsted Outstanding 2-form entry primary school in Islington, who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP.

About The SEN Teaching Assistant Role

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position (Monday-Friday)
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN/SEN)
  • Working closely with class teachers and other SEN TAs within a small unit
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
  • Helping pupils access learning and develop confidence and independence
  • Supporting a range of needs depending on pupil requirements

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a committed and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant who has:

  • Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience (essential)
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional learning needs
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude in the classroom
  • A desire to develop within SEN education long-term
