SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant : Lambeth
We're looking for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Lambeth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is driven to make a meaningful impact on the lives of pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and a range of complex needs.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth
Pay: GBP90:GBP95 per day
Start: Immediate / ASAP
About The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils with ASD and additional needs. Working closely with the wider SEN team, you'll help pupils access learning, build confidence, and feel supported in a structured and nurturing environment. You may also assist with personal care as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and complex needs
- Support classroom activities and daily routines
- Assist with personal care, including toileting and feeding where needed
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement personalised support strategies
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Comfortable supporting personal care needs
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
