Hours of work: 30 Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (As the position is part-time/term-time only, the salary will be prorated.)
Position Details
- Salary: £17,734 – £18,478 pro rata (Based on £25,316 – £26,378 FTE, SAT Band B)
- Contract: Term-time + 5 staff development days
- Start Date: September 2026
- Contract Duration: Fixed term, until 31/08/2027

About the Role
Are you organised, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children’s well-being?
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised SENCO Assistant to join our school community. In this administrative role, you will work directly alongside our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to provide:
- Essential administrative support
- Organisational assistance
- Welfare support to ensure pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or medical requirements thrive
