SENCO Practitioner
SENCO Practitioner – East Finchley
Salary: Up to £32,000 per year (dependent on qualifications & experience) Contract: Full-time, permanent Location: East Finchley, London
Eligibility:
- The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified SENCO Nursery Practitioner to join our welcoming East Finchley team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive nursery where children are encouraged to learn, play, and grow in a safe, engaging environment.

Your Role
As a SENCO Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Plan and deliver activities that support children’s development
- Create a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS
- Track and celebrate developmental milestones
- Build positive relationships with families
- Work with colleagues to maintain high standards of care
- Follow safeguarding and child protection policies
- Lead and champion support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they can actively participate in learning and achieve their full potential
- Collaborate with families, staff, and external professionals to deliver personalised support plans that effectively meet each child’s individual needs.
- Creating an inclusive, caring environment where every child feels valued and supported to reach their full potential.

About You
We are seeking someone who has:
- A full & relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
- Experience in an early years setting (Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection
- A passion for early childhood education and commitment to excellence
- Experience of working with children with SEND requirements.
