Package:
- Consultants: up to £33k basic salary
- Senior Consultants: up to £40k basic salary
- Uncapped commission, zero threshold, progressive bandings
Working Arrangement:
- Office Based: Central London

About the Opportunity
Horizon Teachers, part of Operam Education Group, is growing rapidly and we’re now looking for ambitious Education Recruitment Consultants to join our team and be part of the next stage of our success story.
Since 2008, Horizon Teachers has grown organically year-on-year, building a reputation for delivering high-quality educators to schools across London and the South East. Now part of Operam Education Group, one of the fastest-growing education recruitment groups in the UK, we have the backing, resources, and ambition to scale even further.
This is a true 360 recruitment role, giving you ownership of your own desk and the opportunity to build a strong network of schools and education professionals. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, placing teachers and support staff into permanent, long-term, short-term, and daily roles, while developing lasting client relationships and growing your desk revenue.

Whether your background is in education or a transferable sector, your recruitment expertise will drive your area and help expand our offering across the region while contributing to the growth of the wider group.
Responsibility of Role:
- Running and growing your own high-performing Education recruitment desk across either Primary, Secondary, or SEND
- Winning new business and building strong, lasting relationships with schools and clients, while developing existing partnerships
- Sourcing, interviewing, and placing high-quality education professionals into temporary roles
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate attraction through to placement and ongoing client support
- Driving revenue growth by successfully matching schools with the talent they need
- Taking ownership of your targets and consistently achieving and exceeding KPIs
- Working closely with our Key Accounts and Partnerships team to maximize opportunities across your territory
- Contributing to a driven, ambitious team culture and leading by example
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally in Education or a similar sector, with a track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth
- We would be open to speaking with candidates who have worked in the classroom or a SEND setting and are interested in starting a career in recruitment sales - we have trainee paths available
- A true hunter mentality you thrive on building and managing your own desk, winning business, and making placements that make a real impact
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence clients, candidates, and colleagues at all levels
- Ambition, drive, and ownership you set high standards for yourself and consistently push to achieve and exceed your goals
- A passion for education and making a tangible difference in schools and communities through the talent you place
- Ideally, you will have a full driving license and access to your own car to be able to visit clients in your region. If you are learning, or do not drive, please let us know on your application as we will be able to discuss alternatives if you are shortlisted.
