Job Description
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Kent for a SEND Finance Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring the accurate administration of funding payments while acting as a first point of contact for providers and stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain accurate records, support statutory processes, and deliver an efficient, professional service.

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Early Years Funding Officer, including processing data, managing payments, and handling confidential enquiries.
- Act as the first point of contact for providers and stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service and responding to enquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with the preparation of statutory returns, ensuring compliance with data protection and organisational procedures.
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners to support the effective delivery of services.
Candidate Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
- Experience of Early Years funding processes within the public sector or education environment
