SEND Teacher - Specialist Provision

Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary (Ongoing)

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a specialist setting where you can make a genuine difference every day?

We are working with a highly regarded specialist school seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join their team on a long-term, ongoing basis.

The school was rated Outstanding in every category during its most recent Ofsted inspection, including Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, and Leadership and Management. Inspectors praised the school's ambitious curriculum, therapeutic approach, and unwavering commitment to helping pupils with complex additional needs achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs to achieve positive academic, social, and emotional outcomes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Delivering high-quality, pre-planned lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND and additional learning needs
  • Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to support individual development
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils' wellbeing throughout the school day

About You

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience working with pupils with SEND, or a genuine passion for specialist education
  • Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Has a patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching
  • Understands inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated learning
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
