SEND Teacher A specialist school in Taunton is looking for a SEND Teacher to start from September on a permanent contract. Pay rate is £140 to £170 per day. This is a nurturing school that aims to provide their students with a safe, happy and caring environment, ensuring that all children feel secure. The needs of the students range from autism, moderate learning disability, severe learning disability, and profound and multiple learning difficulty with the students ages ranging from 4 to 19. This school celebrates each of their pupils, no matter big or small, through their broad range of learning resources and teaching methods. They have a strong focus on adaptability for both their staff and students, which helps the students achieve their full potential. A successful SEND teacher at this school would be able to take different teaching approaches, ensuring the curriculum is presented the best way to each child. Someone with a caring nature and a real want for their students to succeed would thrive in this environment. An SEND teacher would make sure each of their students feel a sense of pride, as well as feeling pride themself in their work with the children.
