An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

About The SEND Teacher Role

The successful SEND Teacher will join a well-established Inclusion Team, delivering high-quality SEND interventions, supporting students with EHCPs and working closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies.

The role will involve teaching individual students and small groups across KS3-KS5, supporting learners with ASD, SEMH, and a range of additional learning needs.

The Successful SEND Teacher Will Have

  • QTS and experience working as a SEND Teacher
  • Experience supporting students with SEND, ASD, and/or SEMH
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • The ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and interventions
  • A collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and external agencies
  • A genuine passion for inclusion and improving outcomes for young people
