Teaching Assistant
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time opportunity
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential? We are currently seeking expressions of interest on behalf of one of our specialist education clients as they prepare to open an exciting new provision in Wolverhampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated team from the very beginning, helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment for pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
We're looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide tailored support that enables pupils to engage with learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes. You will play a key role in supporting students both in the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping to create an environment where every learner feels safe, valued and encouraged to succeed. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
