A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Islington is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their specialist ASD provision. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment where staff are valued and pupils are at the heart of everything.
The Role
- Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant within a dedicated ASD unit
- Supporting pupils with autism on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting with learning, communication, and social development
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider support team
- Immediate start through to July, with the potential to continue into the new academic year

The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children with ASD or SEND (education or care background)
- Calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Passionate about making a difference in SEND education
