We're currently looking for flexible Day:to:Day Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistants to join our team in Rochdale. This position is perfect for experienced SEND educators who require a fully adaptable schedule (working 3 to 5 days a week) while earning exceptional daily rates supporting mainstream and specialized primary classrooms.

You will be responsible for adapting quickly to the specific needs of individual pupils, keeping them focused, safe, and positive throughout their school day.
This is a flexible supply position requiring availability for 3 to 5 days per week. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities
- Quickly adjusting to support individual pupils with specific needs (ASD, ADHD, physical or learning difficulties) using pre-set plans.
- Assisting classroom teachers to keep tracking notes and ensure a safe, inclusive workspace.
- Managing behavioral or sensory challenges using positive, gentle, and adaptive reinforcement.

Requirements
- Mandatory: Minimum 3-6 months of dedicated classroom-based or childcare SEND experience.
- Availability: Must be available to work between 3 to 5 days per week.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role).
- Excellent communication skills, high resilience, adaptability, and deep empathy.
