A network of supportive Primary Schools located across Salford are looking for adaptable, patient, and skilled individuals to provide day-to-day supply cover for their SEND provisions.
Job Description
As a Day-to-Day SEND Teaching Assistant, you will step into various classrooms to assist pupils who require extra help, providing calm, reliable reassurance and learning support for 1:1 or small group settings.

- Help to support children with additional needs on a 1:1 or classroom basis.
- Provide group or individual support inside and outside the classroom.
- Adapting quickly to follow existing individual support plans or sensory routines.
- Working alongside a range of primary teachers and school staff.
Day-to-Day Supply
- Choose your working days week by week.
- Hours between 8:30 am and 15:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements
- Prior experience or strong familiarity supporting children with special educational needs (SEND)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Calm under pressure with a proactive, gentle approach
- Highly adaptable and ready to build quick trust with vulnerable pupils
- Flexible; adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner.
