The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEND.
  • Adapt resources and scaffold learning to ensure accessibility.
  • Work closely with the SENCO and wider support team.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students.
  • Support behaviour, engagement, and confidence in the classroom.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values.

This role requires someone who is calm, patient, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Previous experience in a SEND TA role or similar support capacity is essential.
