The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEND.
- Adapt resources and scaffold learning to ensure accessibility.
- Work closely with the SENCO and wider support team.
- Build strong, positive relationships with students.
- Support behaviour, engagement, and confidence in the classroom.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values.
This role requires someone who is calm, patient, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Previous experience in a SEND TA role or similar support capacity is essential.
