The Role
As a Part-Time SEND Tutor, You Will
- Deliver personalised one-to-one or small-group tuition sessions
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and abilities
- Create engaging and supportive learning environments that encourage progress
- Support students in building confidence, independence, and resilience
- Monitor and celebrate learner achievements and development
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to support positive outcomes
About You
We're looking for individuals who:
- Have at least one year of experience supporting students with SEND
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are adaptable, patient, and solution-focused in their approach
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a dedicated educational team
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications or are willing to work towards obtaining them
