Part-Time SEND Tutor

Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole

Pay Rate: £30-£42 per hour

The Role

As a Part-Time SEND Tutor, You Will

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one or small-group tuition sessions
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and abilities
  • Create engaging and supportive learning environments that encourage progress
  • Support students in building confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Monitor and celebrate learner achievements and development
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to support positive outcomes

About You

We're looking for individuals who:

  • Have at least one year of experience supporting students with SEND
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are adaptable, patient, and solution-focused in their approach
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a dedicated educational team
  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications or are willing to work towards obtaining them
