Company: BrightTeach
Working Hours: Part time and Full time (including a blend of part and full time)
Location: Cambridgeshire. You will be expected to travel to various locations in Cambridgeshire to tutor during term time.
Salary: £30-42/hour depending on experience, skills and qualifications
Benefits: This job is flexible, and part/full-time opportunities are available. Competitive rates of pay.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person educational tuition to children and young people with SEND needs (at times, tuition is provided online; however, the majority is face to face).
- Plan, prepare, and teach a range of bespoke and student-centred lessons to ensure student engagement and progress.
- Establish SMART targets for all learners and regularly review progress against these.
- Design interventions that will support both the emotional and academic engagement of students.
- Safeguard the welfare of students, including following the defined safeguarding processes in line with our safeguarding policy.
- Ensure regular reporting of attendance, progress, and behavioural presentation relating to your students following each session.
- Carry out risk assessments of environments and activities to ensure student safety
- Attendance and participation at multi-agency meetings and staff CPD opportunities
Who We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teachers with a teaching qualification (QTS) or practitioners with significant classroom experience.
- Significant experience supporting students with SEND in either the primary, secondary or college sector.
- Engaging educators who are knowledgeable, passionate, and have an understanding of how to engage and motivate learners who may have experienced challenges in their educational journey.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to have a DBS check taken out on you.
- The completion of safeguarding training/knowledge of safeguarding, and of creating a safe learning environment.
- Excellent subject knowledge.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
