SEND Tutor

Part-time SEND Tutor – Nottingham & Nottinghamshire

Our client, a renowned educational provider in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Part-time SEND Tutor to join their dynamic team. With a competitive hourly rate ranging from £30 to £42, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role

As a Part-time SEND Tutor, you will:

  • Work with students of varying abilities and learning needs, providing personalised support to help them realise their full potential.
  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans using effective teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the client’s team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans to meet the needs of SEND students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group support, fostering academic and personal growth.
  • Work with the client’s staff to identify and implement evidence-based teaching methods.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on SEND best practices.

Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • A relevant teaching qualification or extensive experience in SEND education.
  • A strong understanding of SEND teaching strategies and schools policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and our team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of SEND learners.
  • A passion for creating an inclusive, nurturing environment and empowering young learners.
