Important Note: Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Immediate work is available for successful candidates, with a significant increase in opportunities expected from September 2026 as our EOTAS and alternative provision programmes continue to expand. We are actively building our team ahead of the new academic year and can offer both ongoing and long-term placements.
Are you currently working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Support Worker and looking for a role that offers greater flexibility, variety and autonomy?
As a 1:1 SEND Tutor and Learning Mentor, you will work directly with individual students who are unable to attend mainstream school, providing personalised tuition and educational support tailored to their individual needs.
Quantum Scholars is recruiting SEND Tutors and Learning Mentors to deliver one-to-one SEND tuition and support for children and young people receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision across Wokingham and the surrounding areas.
Working as part of our growing EOTAS provision, you will support students with a wide range of needs and backgrounds. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a genuine impact by helping young people rebuild confidence, engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
