Job Spec: Senior 3D Designer – Events & Exhibitions

Location: Home-based, with access to our Sheffield office and occasional on-site requirements

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

About Sixty-Forty

Sixty-Forty is an international event and exhibition design and delivery company, specialising in bespoke solutions for global brands. We combine strategic thinking, imaginative design, and detailed project delivery to bring brand experiences to life across the world.

We are built on long-term partnerships, consistent brand stewardship, and a commitment to creating sustainable, high-impact experiences. Our culture is collaborative, ambitious, and design-led, with a focus on innovation, precision, and quality.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior 3D Designer to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing business at an exciting stage, with real influence over the creative direction and development of the company.

This is a home-based role, with access to our Sheffield office for collaborative working when required. You will also be expected to attend the Sheffield office, client meetings, supplier briefings, site visits, and key project milestones where needed.

As a Senior 3D Designer at Sixty-Forty, you will play a key role in the creative development of high-profile international events and exhibitions. You will lead design concepts, develop strong visual narratives, produce high-quality presentation visuals, and help ensure that creative ideas are practical, buildable, and aligned with client objectives.

Reporting to our Design Directors, you will work closely with clients, project teams, internal teams, and production partners, taking responsibility for design quality from initial concept through to delivery. You will also help shape Sixty-Forty’s creative standards, design processes, and presentation quality as the team continues to grow, with the opportunity to support and lead future members of the design team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
