Senior 3D Industrial Product Designer
Senior 3D Industrial Product Designer or Design Director – Packaging Focus
We’re seeking a strong and inspirational Senior 3D Industrial Product Designer or Design Director with packaging experience to join our UK studio as we expand our 3D capabilities.
Who You Are
You are an experienced 3D industrial product designer, confidently bridging product design, branded packaging, and physical brand experiences. Your expertise combines creative judgement, technical acumen, and commercial awareness, allowing you to deliver distinctive, ownable, and feasible 3D packaging forms, structures, and brand asset systems.
Responsibilities
Creative Thinking & Crafting Excellence
- Translate bold ideas into high-quality 3D pack and brand design, guiding projects from concept through to execution.
- Champion originality, precision and boldness, ensuring designs are strategically smart, visually compelling and technically viable.
- Leverage AI, modelling, and visualisation tools to enhance storytelling, efficiency, and creative ambition.
Strategic & Brand Alignment
- Interpret brand strategy into distinctive, commercially relevant 3D packaging and asset design, interrogating category norms and commercial realities.
- Focus on purpose over instinct, ensuring designs embody brand truth and stand out in the market.
Studio Process & Project Delivery
- Own and manage multiple projects, keeping timelines focused and ensuring high-quality output.
- Identify risks early, maintain progress, and structure workflows that elevate team delivery.

Team Collaboration & Feedback
- Foster a creative, inclusive culture where employees feel supported and inspired.

Leadership & Mentorship
- Guide junior team members through meaningful feedback, structured development and consistent growth opportunities.
- Balance support and challenge to empower individuals while maintaining project excellence.
Commercial Acumen
- Balance creative ambition with project scope, protecting design integrity while mindful of deadlines, budgets, and value.
- Engage in resourcing discussions and effectively manage external contributors.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in 3D structural pack design within a creative agency.
- Portfolio showcasing HIGH-impact packaging and industrial design work, preferred with a mix of commercial and standalone projects.
Location & Flexibility
This is a full-time, hybrid role ideally based at our Tunbridge Wells studio, with 2 days from home. We are open to applications for our London studio and can discuss part-time arrangements.
