We are looking for a talented Senior 4D Modeller to join our Defence team in Reading. This is a senior leadership role operating at the intersection of programme delivery, digital engineering and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will manage the development, integration and governance of 4D planning outputs, ensuring programme information is translated into clear and effective visualisations that support informed decision-making across a complex and highly regulated environment.
The candidate should be able to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing the development, integration and maintenance of the FMC 4D model, ensuring alignment with programme objectives, master planning activities and evolving project requirements.
- Managing and enhancing 3D models using data from multiple sources, ensuring flexibility, accuracy and efficient optioneering throughout programme delivery.
- Integrating the 4D model with programme schedules and managing schedule and spatial data within Synchro 4D to ensure reliable and coordinated outputs.
- Supporting scenario testing, programme optioneering and governance reviews by providing clear visual evidence of programme risks, constraints and opportunities.
- Producing high-quality 4D visualisations, phasing plans, animations and stakeholder presentations that communicate complex programme information clearly.
- Facilitating workshops and live model reviews with client teams and senior stakeholders to support programme validation and strategic decision-making.
- Maintaining robust governance, assurance and quality management processes for all 4D planning outputs while driving continuous improvement across digital planning capabilities.

You’ll Need To Have
- Significant experience leading 4D planning, programme visualisation, digital delivery or programme integration activities on large and complex projects or programmes.
- Advanced 3D modelling capabilities, including experience creating and managing models from multiple data sources and industry-standard file formats.
- Strong understanding of programme integration, phasing strategies, scheduling principles and stakeholder coordination within complex environments.
- Proven experience using Synchro 4D and other digital planning tools to support programme delivery, visual communication and decision-making.
- Experience working within major infrastructure, nuclear, defence or other highly regulated environments.
- Degree (or equivalent Level 6 qualification) in Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Digital Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
