Senior ABL Transaction Associate

About Allica Bank

Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company – and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Established SMEs represent over a third of our economy, yet they have been largely neglected by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.

Growth Finance

Having achieved success in the commercial mortgage and asset finance markets, Allica launched Growth Finance in 2023. This product delivers working capital funding with facility sizes between £1m–£10m, principally via asset-based lending.

Since its launch, the product has been well received, with our client portfolio expanding quickly. Now, we are expanding our regional presence to support additional growing businesses’ funding needs.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Transaction Associate to join our team. You will:

  • Coordinate and oversee onboarding of new clients and introducers.
  • Work closely with our sales team, external lawyers, and advisers.
  • Require meticulous attention to detail to succeed in the fast-paced environment.

You’ll prioritise deals efficiently while maintaining up-to-date documentation, reports, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Principal Accountabilities

Client Onboarding & Support

  • Work alongside the Relationship Manager (RM) & Business Development Manager (BDM) team to manage client introductions, including:
    • Credit searches
    • Know-Your-Customer (KYC) approvals
    • Completing or reviewing necessary documentation
    • Providing operational support for the first drawdown
  • Escalate new or increased Growth Finance (GF) client or debtor risks promptly to the Senior Relationship Manager.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
