A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Account Director to join a growing independent healthcare communications agency. You'll lead strategic communications programmes for leading pharmaceutical clients, combining scientific content experience with client leadership to deliver high-impact projects that improve patient outcomes.

Everything you need to know about the role

As a Senior Account Director, you will:

  • Lead a portfolio of healthcare communications accounts focused on UK HCP Meetings (standalones and at congresses)
  • Develop scientific content for HCP meetings, educational materials and promotional campaigns
  • Translate complex clinical data into clear, engaging communications
  • Lead, mentor and develop account teams
  • Oversee budgets, timelines and project delivery
  • Support new business activity and agency growth

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

  • Degree qualified in a life sciences subject
  • 7+ years' healthcare communications agency experience
  • Proven experience leading pharmaceutical client accounts
  • Scientific writing and content development skills
  • Confident leading teams, projects and client relationships
  • Excellent organisational, commercial and project management skills
  • Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused
