Metrisenergy.com is a London-based climate tech startup backed by Octopus Ventures and AENU (£2M pre-seed) that automates solar asset management. Their platform, MetrisOS, monitors over 5,350 UK commercial solar projects, using data and proprietary AI to transform manual operations into autonomous, revenue-generating systems for property owners and investors.
Job Description
As the founding sales hire at Metrisenergy.com, you will own the entire revenue function end-to-end. You’ll personally drive mid-market B2B deals from first touch to close while simultaneously building the company’s first repeatable sales playbook. This hands-on role is pivotal in scaling the business toward its 6x ARR growth target over the next two years.

What You Will Do
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to closing mid-market and enterprise B2B SaaS contracts.
- Design and implement the core sales infrastructure, including CRM processes, KPIs, forecasting models, and repeatable outbound outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with the product team and founders to refine pricing, packaging, and positioning based on real-world market feedback and customer needs.
The ideal candidate
- Has 4–7 years of experience in full-cycle B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales, with a proven track record of closing mid-market deals.
- Possesses a builder mindset, having successfully operated in early-stage startups or scaleups where they had to create processes and playbooks from scratch.
- Demonstrates exceptional commercial sharpness and communication skills, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in finance and asset management.
