Are you an ambitious account executive with a genuine interest in rare diseases? Join a fast-paced, forward-thinking publications account supporting a patient-centric global client, in which you’ll help shape high-quality outputs and play a key role in delivering work that makes a real difference.

The role

In this senior account executive role, you’ll take ownership of client relationships, contribute to proposal development, and proactively manage budgets and timelines to ensure seamless delivery. Working closely with a collaborative and high-performing team, you’ll help deliver impactful publications and enhanced content in the area of rare diseases.

You’ll be involved in a broad range of projects, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials and digital resources, as part of a flagship publications account that plays a key role within Amiculum.

This role offers flexibility in how you work, whether that’s from one of our UK offices or fully remotely from anywhere in the UK or Ireland.

Key responsibilities

  • Working as part of an account handling team supporting a publications client in rare diseases
  • Driving the delivery of projects to a high standard, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget
  • Leading smaller projects and contributing to larger initiatives, effectively managing timelines, budgets and resources
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, medical experts and third-party suppliers, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Supporting account growth and collaboration by contributing to project planning, new ideas and cross-team partnerships

What you’ll need

  • Previous client services experience at a healthcare communications agency, including involvement in publications projects
  • A strong academic or professional background in the life sciences
  • A clear commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm for working as part of a team
  • A highly organized, proactive and solution-focused way of working, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent attention to detail
