The opportunity
Anthem, a Resonant Group company, is looking for an ambitious and highly organised Senior Account Manager to join our award-winning healthcare communications team.
You will be a trusted client partner, leading significant projects, workstreams and accounts with increasing independence. Working closely with Account Directors, you will provide confident counsel, translate strategy into clear plans and help ensure work is delivered to the highest standards of quality, creativity and compliance.

What we are looking for
You will have experience in a healthcare communications agency, working with UK and/or global pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare clients.
You will also bring:
- Experience leading substantial workstreams, complex projects or smaller accounts
- Confidence providing proactive client counsel and clear recommendations
- Strong project leadership skills, including managing budgets, timelines, resources and team delivery
- The ability to translate strategy into focused, practical plans
- Experience shaping high-quality, strategically aligned and compliant content
- Knowledge of media relations, stakeholder engagement, content and digital communications
- Sound understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical environment, including ABPI requirements
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify risks and growth opportunities
- A curious and critical mind, with the confidence to question assumptions and improve the work
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the initiative to spot opportunities and turn ideas into action
- Excellent judgement, organisation and attention to detail
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for coaching and developing junior colleagues
- Integrity and a commitment to the highest ethical standards
