Electronic Components Sales Account Manager – Fast-Moving UK Role
Our Client We are partnering with a global electronic components distributor, helping businesses source critical parts and navigate supply chain challenges. This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment where sales professionals have the freedom to expand customer accounts, uncover new opportunities, and establish enduring partnerships across the UK electronics market.
About the Role
This commercial sales position focuses on customer relationship management within the electronic components sector. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with key clients—such as OEMs, EMS providers, CEMs, and manufacturers—to:
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
- Drive revenue growth
- Deliver decisive support for electronic component sourcing and supply chain challenges
Ideal candidates will thrive as self-driven relationship builders with the confidence to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand key customer relationships across the UK electronics market
- Develop new opportunities with corporate clients, including:
- OEMs, EMS providers, CEMs, and manufacturing firms
- Leverage existing customer networks to uncover and generate revenue opportunities
- Provide leadership in electronic component sourcing, including:
- Hard-to-find parts
- Shortage mitigation
- Obsolescence management
- Excess inventory solutions
- Wider supply chain problem-solving
- Autonomously manage a sales territory while maintaining professional representation of the business across UK-wide customer engagements
- Enable long-term relationships, serving as a trusted commercial partner to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to recommend and implement optimal sourcing and supply chain solutions
- Board seminars, meetings, and networking events in-person, with flexibility to travel across the UK as required

Requirements
- Proven track record of selling electronic components in a distribution-based environment
- Relevant experience from:
- Independent distribution
- Brokerage or electronics wholesale supply chains
- Strong network of UK-based commercial relationships with:
- OEMs, EMS providers, CEMs, or manufacturing clients
- Demand-driven skills in:
- Account management
- Generating new business growth
- Adept at remote, autonomous work with a high touch agenda
- Deep familiarity with the UK electronic components market and industry dynamics
- Passionate about a franchise/distribution brokerage model
- Commercially oriented, with a proclivity for relationship-driven opportunity creation
- Highly energetic, sociable, self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to travel across the UK for client meetings
