We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to lead a dedicated customer business unit based in Coleshill. In this role, you will act as the single point of contact for a Luxury Automotive OEM, owning full P&L accountability and operational performance for the UK Master DC. You will also centrally coordinate governance and KPI assurance across Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs) in APAC, EU, and SSA, ensuring seamless end-to-end service delivery aligned to the customer’s aftermarket and service objectives. How you will contribute Own full P&L responsibility for the customer business unit within the Master DC, including revenue, cost control, gross margin, budgeting, forecasting, and productivity improvements. Lead day-to-day Master DC operations across customer service, inbound, storage, inventory integrity, order fulfilment, pick/pack, and dispatch to UK service centers and international RDCs. Ensure achievement of contractual SLAs and KPIs, maintaining high levels of system accuracy, ASN performance, and data-driven insight through reporting tools (e.g. Power BI). Drive continuous improvement initiatives across labor planning, shift patterns, and material handling equipment utilisation using Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies. Champion a strong health, safety, and compliance culture, ensuring regulatory readiness and adherence to standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Maintain robust site security, inventory governance, and safe systems of work, including oversight of high-risk or hazardous products such as lithium-ion batteries. Act as the primary operational and commercial interface with the customer, leading governance forums including weekly operational calls, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews. Provide transparent performance reporting, risk management, mitigation planning, and change control, ensuring contractual obligations are met and scope changes are appropriately managed. Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing and identify opportunities to expand or cross-sell additional services. Coordinate centrally with RDC leadership teams across APAC, EU, and SSA to align performance reporting, KPI definitions, and improvement actions. Monitor RDC performance against contractual targets and support consistent communication and escalation processes. Lead, coach, and develop the Master DC team, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting succession planning. Build and sustain a high-performing, multi-skilled team focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, IT, Finance, HR, Commercial teams, and other on-site business units. What you will bring Degree educated (preferred), or equivalent experience. Senior operational leadership experience within multi-client or dedicated distribution centers, ideally within automotive aftermarket or complex spare parts environments. Proven ownership of P&L with a strong track record of improving margins, productivity, and service performance. Extensive customer-facing experience, including contract governance, SLA/KPI assurance, and senior stakeholder engagement. Experience operating within ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliant environments. Demonstrable experience managing the storage and handling of hazardous or high-risk products, including lithium-ion batteries. Exposure to global or multi-regional operations. Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and contract interpretation. Ability to coordinate cross-functional and cross-regional teams effectively. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented approach. Safety-first leadership style with a strong commitment to compliance. Collaborative, adaptable, and able to influence at senior levels. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure, multi-market environment. Proactive, solution-focused, and capable of working independently. Strong relationship-building capability with a focus on long-term customer value and business growth.
